Gayle's Art Wall

"I love color and views so I created the vision of my dreams," Gayle says about this project designed to bring art to the outdoors. Gayle's Art Wall is featured in a new series on HGTV called "Look What I Did". Local newspapers picked up the story (see this PDF of the article printed in the Auburn Journal, Placer Herald and the Press Tribune). The Sacramento Bee also featured her in an article (November 19, 2005, Home and Garden section).

"The crew of HGTV made it so much fun," Gayle recalls. "They were nice enough to let me drop my daughter at college before we had to shoot the footage. We did that in September. That day will go down in my favorite moments memory. I contacted the show, submitted my proposal and cried when I got the call. The producer Brain Heller said asked me what I was doing when he called. It was 106 degrees out and I said I am painting 'Heat Wave'. He said, 'You may want to put your brushes down. You got it.' My belief continues that you can do anything you put your mind to."
