Press Release: Local Artist Brewing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 30, 2002

(ROCKLIN, CA) - Rocklin teacher, artist and art consultant Gayle Rappaport – Weiland’s "Window To The World” limited edition Iris Giclee print was selected by BriteVision Media to be a part of their JavaArt™ Program. Gayle’s image will appear on coffee sleeves (see below), providing coffee drinkers and cafes with beautiful, original, and thought provoking artwork at the start of their day.

Gayle is well known for her teaching skills and techniques she has brought to various Continuing Education Program classes offered through Sierra College and American River College; her continued involvement as an on-air art expert for public station KVIE’s annual art auction; and the display and exhibit of her art work in numerous galleries throughout the region.

BriteVision’s main business is in manufacturing and distributing advertising on coffee sleeves. However, several years ago they launched the “Java Art” program in order to provide emerging artists with a vehicle in which they could promote their art to millions of coffee drinkers. The JavaArt™ sleeves are available at below market price to encourage venue owners’ promotion of the art. Gayle was honored with this recognition. Watch for her image on coffee sleeves at local and national coffee houses beginning in July of 2003.
